Once the pinball machine arrives in our workshop, we carry out a full assessment of its condition. Our team pays attention to every detail, in order to identify any mechanical problems, missing parts, cosmetic damage and much more. We understand any hidden problems and are always in contact with the customer to update him on the work to be done.
During the disassembly phase, each component is carefully removed from the playfield, from the cabinet (the structure) and from every other part of the machine including all the screws. This process takes a lot of attention and time, but it's essential to make sure every piece can be thoroughly cleaned, repaired, or replaced.
We categorize all parts and organize them for easy accessibility during the restoration process. This allows us to have a complete view of the available components and to quickly refer to what is needed for the restoration.
In this phase all the parts of the pinball machine are completely disassembled and consequently the metal components are galvanized and nickel-plated. During the restoration process, we replace all worn or broken parts, carry out a complete cleaning of the wiring, coils, connectors and boards, fixing any hidden problems.
All ramps, plastics and stainless steel parts are completely disassembled, washed and flame polished to remove scratches; while lamps and flashers are replaced.
Playfield: After having carefully disassembled all the mechanical parts and wiring of the lower part of the Playfield, we will proceed with the cleaning and sanding of the wood to make it return to its original appearance, then we proceed with the disassembly of all the parts mounted on the upper facade of the Playfield, we then proceed to a careful analysis of the Playfield to detect any damaged or missing graphics. The Playfield will then be delivered to a professional restorer who will restore the graphics and colors as they were originally. Once the graphic restoration is complete, a transparent lacquer is applied which will protect the graphics and bring out the colors as they were originally.
Cabinet: The cabinet is completely stripped of all plastic, metal and wiring parts, the old decals are then removed, then proceeding with the reinforcement/repair of the cabinet itself.
After this first phase, the furniture is repainted, including the headboard, excluding the bottom, where it is brought back to the initial color through a deep sanding. We then wait a few days to allow the paint to dry perfectly, then we proceed to the final stage of applying the new Decals.
At the customer's request we can carry out customizations and modifications, for example chrome plating, painting with fluorescent colors of Coin Door, Lockbar, Sidebar, Legs, Bolts Legs, Bolts etc.
When we rebuild the pinball machine, we work with great attention to detail. We make sure that all parts are precisely adjusted and that the wiring is done cleanly and neatly. We are committed to creating a pinball machine that is 100% beautiful and functional, both top and bottom.
Testing by our technicians cannot be omitted, to guarantee the correct functioning of the entire pinball machine and its individual components.
We make sure that all pinball machines that leave our facility are well packed and protected during shipment. We wrap them with a bubble wrap, with shrink film and place them on a customized pallet. If requested, we can build a customized wooden case. The cases are fixed together with screws for easy disassembly.
The cost varies depending on the materials and method required.
